Mitch Wieland, who teaches fiction and nonfiction in Southern New Hampshire University's MFA program, was named a 2012 National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellow. He is among only 40 writers nationwide to receive the $25,000 fellowship, and was chosen from among nearly 1,200 applicants.
